CPW Chauffeur Services

CPW Chauffeur Services is run by Colin who served as a Police Constable in North Yorkshire Police for 30 years, retiring in September 2015. Since then, he has combined his personal protection experience and love of driving to offer an impeccable first-class service.

Colin wanted to put all the skills and experiences he had accrued in the Police and take on a new challenge which he has done in the form of his Chauffeur Company, CPW Chauffeur Services, about which he is extremely passionate – aiming to deliver the same high-quality service to new clients as he provided to Royalty and Heads of State.

Being the company owner and principal driver we feel his background is important to not only reflect his own personal qualities that are the essence of the company’s reputation but the same high standards apply to chauffeurs who work for us and represent our strong principles of service and professional care.

Colin is an expert in planning and logistics having planned hundreds of firearms operations and VIP Protection visits including visits by HM The Queen and the majority of the British Royal family, past Prime Ministers and Politicians and former US Presidents namely George Bush (Snr).

Attention to detail is Colin’s watch word and his nature is being a perfectionist so he will devote 110% effort and enthusiasm when planning every job leaving no stone unturned as well as factoring in any “what ifs” that may occur. He is a problem solver and will think on his feet as well as a great communicator and will always go that extra mile to guarantee his clients are satisfied.

One of the highlights of Colin’s career was to work in London for the 2012 Olympics as part of the massive Close Protection operation and worked with a small team responsible for the security of the President of Croatia.

His specialism within the Police was in the sphere of Firearms Operations and for 25 years was an operational Authorised Firearms Officer and for a vast majority of that time he was a Firearms Trainer responsible for the initial training and continuation training of literally hundreds of officers in the Police use of firearms and tactics.

He also provided advice and guidance to senior officers on the management of firearms incidents by offering specialist firearms tactical advice to assist them in ensuring the safe resolution of these incidents.

Colin accrued a long list of national firearms specialist qualifications over his service as well a vast array of driving qualifications in particular Advanced Driver, Close Protection and Anti-Ambush Driver, giving him a very credible pedigree as a safe driver.

In the 2 years we have been operating the business has gone from strength to strength. We have nurtured links with high profile prominent corporate clients as well as some chauffeuring some well known VIPs from TV, film and music industries.
